Dr. Shruti Khare Aterkar is an Endocrinologist and Diabetologist in Ahmedabad with over 16 years of clinical experience. She completed her MBBS, MD in General Medicine and DM in Endocrinology from leading medical institutions in Mumbai, including Seth G.S. Medical College and K.E.M. Hospital.
Her practice focuses on understanding how hormonal and metabolic disorders affect the body as a whole. From diabetes and thyroid disorders to PCOD, obesity, pituitary, adrenal, parathyroid and bone disorders, her approach begins with identifying the underlying endocrine problem and choosing investigations and treatment according to the individual clinical picture.

Dr. Shruti’s medical training began with General Medicine before she pursued super-specialisation in Endocrinology. This background helps her assess hormonal conditions alongside other health factors that may influence symptoms, test results and treatment decisions. She has also been involved in academic medicine and clinical practice, with experience at institutions including K.E.M. Hospital, Seth G.S. Medical College and Surat Municipal Institute. She has been consulting in Ahmedabad since 2016.
